Marionettes

Mikhail Daken – “Marionettes” is a cinematic music video exploring control, attachment, and the slow collapse of a relationship.

The project combines AI-generated footage with atmospheric visual editing to build a surreal and dreamlike world. Through shadowy environments, fragmented memories, and symbolic imagery, the video follows two people bound by invisible emotional strings unable to fully reach each other, yet unable to let go.

The visual pacing follows the song’s melancholic atmosphere and heavier alternative-rock dynamics, creating a feeling of longing, tension, and emotional dissolution. The result is an immersive visual chapter where AI footage and cinematic storytelling work together to expand the world of “Marionettes.”
